Living Narratives
From our homes to our schools, our neighborhoods, offices, natural spaces and beyond, the land and the human-designed structures upon it tells and reinforces stories. These stages facilitate the rhytms of our daily lives, influencing our choices, activities, and interactions. Our environments reflect and shape our collective understandings, priorities, and values. What type of story are you living inside of? What story are you wanting to tell?
Living Literacies
The key to climate health and healing requires us to develop fluency for understanding how to engage harmoniously with nature. Growing fluency through observational experience and communion with the natural world, butressed by cultural knowledge of place, will enable us to move in greater alignment with nature’s intelligence.
Material Resonance
The materials we use matter. In addition to chemical makeup, material forms carry energy. The frequency resonance of natural forms vary dramatically from the resonance of manufactored or processed materials. Frequency resonance can enhance or hinder natural processes and the flow of life-energy. How can our material use and cultivaton support our connectivity and wellbeing? How can we learn to work with natural materials as living elements, to enhance our creations?
Embodied Intelligence
Life is intelligence. Organic forms have inherent patterned information that guides their growth and expression. Our bodies contain their own intelligence and consciousness, which can be awakened, accessed and cultivated with intentionality, aiding our capacity to work in collaboration with other life-intelligences.
Language as Lens
All is mind. Language facilitates meaning-making and analysis of the world around us. It frames, informs and shapes our perception, our beliefs and our worldviews. Being such, language can trap or it can liberate, it can separate and dissect, or it can ground and connect.
